Geek Week continues with the traditional visit from IT. "Gary," as his ID badge declared, responded to my HelpDesk inquiry only five hours after my initial request.
A new record.
While he configured my upgrade, he nattered on about his general disdain for proprietary software telling me "open source is where it's at" and that anyone who doesn't know perl "is a moron."
Always a joy having the IT guy over.
