Shakeup @ Fear The Boot
Topic: RPGs

One of Fear The Boot's hosts, Adam Pinilla, has resigned his position from the podcast.

On his livejournal blog last night, Adam made the announcement:

I am officially resigning from Fear the Boot.

An issue has arisen between Dan and I that is irreconcilable. The fault lies with me and another unnamed person. I won't go into exactly what the issue is since everyone here deserves their privacy but I do not see a resolution to this issue or a mending of any friendships.

Over on the FTB Forum, front man Dan had this to say:

I wanted to let you guys know that Adam will no longer be with the show. I know the obvious question is, "Why?" which I don't intend to answer. All I can say is that, just like everyone else in the world, we're flawed human beings that have our drama. Some things have happened that have made his presence on this show impossible. Any comment beyond that would be unfair to the parties involved, so I ask that you respect our privacy.

I have to say having watched a number of internet meltdowns between friends and associates, I truly appreciate the class in which both of these guys are handling the situation.  It'd be easy to start a great, big flame war or even a special hate site or Yahoogroup.  Despite the inquiries of a number of individuals, both parties have kept things at a professional level.

I 'm also pleased to see that the drama has not tarnished the remaining hosts' desire to run the show or the much anticipated Fear The Con.

So, umm... Dan... I see there's a vacancy.  Where do I send my resume?

Me talk pretty, y'know?
